Net4Cities Kick-Off Meeting

We just finished an excellent Kick-Off meeting of the consortium here in Potsdam! We spent the last two days getting to know each other, exchanging about the planned activities, and getting everyone on the same page about our planned transdisciplinary co-creation approach.

We will be working closely with a variety of stakeholders including representatives in the municipal organizations of our 11 partner cities, to ensure that we can incorporate their priorities and interests into the research goals of the project. To make sure that the approach is coordinated and harmonized across all cities, we discussed the draft of our co-creation guidelines, a key deliverable in the project.

We are looking forward to getting started so that we can advance air and noise pollution monitoring and generate data that will aid in assessing their impacts on health. Net4Cities will expand monitoring infrastructure in eleven European cities in ten countries. Net4Cities will support efforts to implement the Zero Pollution Action Plan as part of the European Green Deal.
